The club shall be known as Wolwehoek Shooting Club, also previously known as Wolwehoek Practical Shooting Club. Out of respect to the original founders of the club our domain will remain as Wolwehoek Gun Club. – PD Pretorius
Welcome to Wolwehoek which has a colourful history, it originated way back in the 1950 when farmers formed a flying club. This then changed to a safer and cheaper shotgun shooting club which started in 1957. The Wolwehoek Gun Club, where originally Trap Skeet and Olympic Trench was offered.
Later in 1978 we started Combat shooting, from there developed Rifle shooting, Bow Shooting, .22 Shooting, Air Rifle, Black Powder, and all the other disciplines.
Location: We are situated outside Sasolburg on a farm. Saltberryplain.
