A special place..

Nestled among undulating landscapes and ravines of the Southern Free State, Otterskloof Private Game Reserve spans some 14,000 hectares (34,500 acres) on elevated plains, with majestic koppies (hills) arising from the charming yet harsh and rugged African plains.

The Reserve is privileged to have Lake Vanderkloof hugging its 25km (15,5 miles) Western Boundary.

The reserve is home to 32 species of game including Roan and Sable Antelope, Fish Eagle, Blue Crane, various Owl species, Rock Dassie/Hyrax, Black Wildebeest (white-tailed), Blesbuck, Blue Wildebeest (brindled tailed), Bontebuck, Cape Eland, Common Reedbuck, Gemsbuck, Gray Duiker, Impala, Jackal, Mountian Reedbuck, Red Hartebeest, Red Lechwe, Steenbuck, Waterbuck, White Blesbuck, Zebra, Cape Buffalo, Kudu, Nyala, Springbuck, and Giraffe.

Indigenous flora flourishes across the Reserve.
